We have tatami mats!
Our tatami mats come in a traditional build with a woven grass cover on top of a rice straw core. Our mats have a wonderful embossed fabric trim on the edges. An Earthy smell is normal and nice. You can use Tatamis under a futon or cover a whole floor! These are heavy and solid and feel great under bare feet. A typical 13’x 13’ room costs around $1,900. We can deliver.
The mats are 2.25” thick and come in the following bed sizes. Ask about special sizes. There are more available.

Come check out our new Tatami Bed
The Tatami Bed fits a tatami mat perfectly level to the beds’ wood trim. Imported from and made with Indonesian mahogany, the Tatami Bed uses traditional castle joints, that is essentially snap together joinery with the rails and the legs. Only 3 bolts needed for assembly. The legs are wide and sturdy, coming in 10” and 16” heights. We offer additional slats free of charge to use this bed without tatami mats. (The slat spacing is a little wide otherwise). The Tatami Bed comes in Honey Oak (shown), Black Walnut and Natural. Usually in stock. Headboards we take orders for. Takes a couple of weeks to arrive
